Windy City was founded in 1987 and merged with the Norwood Park
Baptist Church in 1997.
The one service at 10 AM will continue until further notice.
Windy City Community Church has contemporary services at 9:30 AM and
11 AM on Sundays. Communion is the first Sunday of each month and
all believers are invited to participate. There are Sunday school
classes for all ages and a nursery during both services.
Windy City Community Church is a member of
Conservative Baptist Association
of America (CBAmerica), The National
Association of Evangelicals and the North Side Evangelical
Fellowship.
Windy City is located near the Norwood Park train station at 6131 N.
Newark Avenue, Chicago, IL 60631-2515. Parking is available on the
streets around the church. In the map below the church is really
north of the red star at the intersection of Raven, Newark and
Navarre:
