This is the original 720x480 file on the DVD. It is only 4:18 but 298 MB meaning that it will take about 30 minutes to download with a 1.5 Mb/s connection. Of course maybe you want to download this to your PC and write some CDs which you can then give away to people.

A Smaller (Compressed) AVI Version This is a much smaller file, only 28 MB, 360x240 with additional compression. There is some loss of video quality because of the compression. The whole video was gamma corrected to make the inside scenes lighter but this also results in some loss of color. It takes almost 3 minutes to download with a 1.5 Mb/s connection.

When you download this file it may or may not start up during the downloading process depending on your browser and movie software. With Internet Explorer on XP using Windows Media Player (WMP) it will probably start after just a little while. With Firefox and WMP under XP nothing happened. With Firefox, RealPlayer 10.5 and Windows 2000 the whole file had to download first. You can also give RealPlayer the URL but you'll have to wait for the whole file to download. With Linux, Totem and Firefox the video starts playing after a few seconds.

CAUTION: You may be asked if you want to download a DivX player from divx.com. You don't really have to but if you do the installation program will ask you if you want to install the Google toolbar. The thing is when Debbie did this it caused her Internet Explorer to die after a little while.
