Here are some Windy City sermons. They are by Pastor Steve Story unless otherwise noted. The most recent sermons are also available as mp3 files, are about 24-48 minutes long and run from about 6-10M. Under Windows you can listen online with Real Player 10 or Windows Media Player or your default audio player by clicking Listen. Under Linux the Totem Movie Player with the gStreamer plugins will work. People tell me the mp3 files transfer over 56K modems without interruptions.

To save an mp3 file RIGHT click on DNLD then for Firefox click "Save Link As" and for Internet Explorer click "Save Target As".

If you're interested in printing Steve's sermons remember that you can control the size of the font, see Browser Settings. Also I've been transforming Steve's messages from the .doc format he gives me to HTML using the free Open Office program. The transforms include adding margins that look nice to me on the screen in HTML. If you want to get rid of the margins or make them smaller before you print I would say save the file, take it into Open Office, double click the ruler to adjust the indents as you see fit and also adjust the font size (Click "Select All" under Edit before changing the size). I suppose you should be able to do the same thing with Microsoft Word but I don't know Word.

We are now experimenting with a podcast of the most recent sermons. To subscribe using Firefox you only need to: click this link or the orange podcast symbol that appears to the right of the internet address window. With Internet Explorer 7 just clicking either should work too but note that you also need at least Microsoft XML Parser (MSXML) 3.0 Service Pack 5 (SP5). Internet Explorer versions before IE 7 do not support podcasts. To subscribe to a podcast using some other program (such as Yahoo) paste this url: http://www.windycitycommunitychurch.org/sermons/sermonsv2.rss into your podcast program. Then write Don and let him know what happened.
