Senior Pastor - Steve Story

Pastor Steve is a lifelong resident of Chicago. Before he was Pastor Steve, he was Officer Steve, serving as a Chicago policeman from 1986 until being hired at Windy City. He graduated cum laude from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School with a Masters of Divinity. Before becoming Senior Pastor in 2000, he served as an Assistant Pastor for four years. Pastor Steve and his wife Denise have been married since 1991 and have two daughters. In 2005 Pastor Steve became Ironman Steve by completing the brutal Wisconsin Ironman Triathlon. In 2007 Ironman Steve completed a second triathlon and cut his previous time by one hour.

Pastor of Worship - Luke Beal

Pastor Luke was called from Kansas to Windy City Community Church in October of 2007. With a vibrant and heartfelt style, he invites worshipers to connect with God through song.

Luke hails from El Dorado, Kansas - hometown of Chicago Bears' legendary quarterback Bobby Douglas. He graduated from Friends University, alma mater of the late great Rich Mullins, in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in biology and minors in chemistry and religion/philosophy. In addition to participating in music ministry for the last twelve years, Luke has spent time teaching math and science as a private Christian educator. He is the oldest of nine children.

Pastor of Children's Ministries - Adaline Coleman

Adaline Coleman was born and raised in Chicago. She was born again in July of 1983. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Human Development from the University of Illinois, she began graduate work at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. She began attending Windy City in 1989 where she met Rob. She became Dean of Women at Trinity in 1991, the same year she married Rob. In 1993, she joined the staff of Windy City as Pastor of Children’s Ministries. She finally received her master’s degree in 1997. Rob and Adaline have been blessed with two children. Rob is currently an elder at Windy City and has directed the Junior High Ministry since its inception.
